Search Engine Optimisation is the process of improving your site visibility in Google search results. The more visibility your website get in the Google search result, the more likely you will be getting more traffic to your website and hence attract prospective as well as existing customers to the website and enhance the sales.

Search engine optimisation is a fundamental part of digital marketing. The main use of search engines to find relevant information about products and services to the users with ease.

Hence it is important to have greater visibility of your website as well as your webpages in the search engine result page to have an edge over the competitors.

How does Search Engine Optimisation work?

Google is one of the major search engines in the world. Google use bots to search for relevant information by searching from site to site thereby collecting relevant information from those pages and then it put all of them in Index. Several algorithms are used to analyse pages in the index.

These algorithms take into account hundreds of factors to determine the order of pages that should appear in the Google search engine results page for a query that is provided by the user.

This algorithm searches webpages and contents in it and filter relevant, secure pages with the intention of providing information rich search experience for the users. Therefore, optimising your webpages as well as the content present in it is important to rank your pages higher in the search results.

scaling techniques

A Classification of Scaling techniques   SCALING TECHNIQUES ARE CLASSIFIED INTO TWO   Comparative   Non-comparative     Comparative scales  involve  the direct comparison of stimulus objects. Comparative scale data must be interpreted in relative terms and have only ordinal or rank order properties.   Under comparative they are four kind of techniques   1.paired  comparison   2.rank order   3.constant sum   4.q sort  and other  procedures     In non-comparative scales, each object is scaled independently of the others in the stimulus set. The resulting data are generally assumed to be interval or ratio scaled.   Under non comparative scales they are two kinds   1.continuous rating scales   2.itemized rating scales   Again,  under itemized scaling they are three kind   1.likert   2.semantic differential   3.stapel     Paired comparison ...

Value Analysis and Value Engineering

Value Analysis is a standardized, multi-skilled team approach which aims at ascertaining the lowest cost way and guaranteeing the highest worth to complete the functions of a product, process or service. Value analysis means to evaluate product functions and value-to-cost ratios, and to find opportunities for costs reduction. Value Engineering denotes to the design stage. This methodology is commonly used for new products, therefore the same principles and techniques to pre-manufacturing stages such as concept development, design and prototyping are applied. Image source: Learnpick.in To sum up, VA / VE is a systematic and systemic method to increase the value of an item, which can be a product, system, process, procedure, plan, machine, equipment , tool, service or working method. Function analysis is measure of VA as its purpose is to recognize product functions compared to cost and price; design and construction assessment is done through VE with the goal of excluding elements whic...

STAGES OF NEW PRODUCT DESIGN

STEPS INVOLVED IN DEVELOPING NEW PRODUCT DESIGN: IDEA GENERATION: The design process begins with understanding the customer needs. Ideas for a new product can come from several sources. Internal sources include employees, research and development, market research. External sources include customer, political, environmental, and technological. SCREENING IDEAS: The purpose of screening ideas is to exclude those ideas that do not seem to have high potential. FEASIBILITY STUDY: Feasibility study consists of market analysis, economic analysis and technical and strategic analysis The market analysis through customer analysis and market survey assesses whether there is adequate demand for the proposed product to invest in developing further. If the adequate demand subsists, then there is an economic analysis that aims at establishing the production and development costs and relates them with estimated sales volume.   The profit potential of the product can be deliber...
